What People's Say About Place

Being in an area with not too many good Taco places, Chacos Taqueria has some of the best birria tacos. If you are ever in the area, try the birria tacos with the bandito sauce (for some spice) highly recommend. Hope to see you guys opened back up soon! Also yes I took them to the beach lol, fits the vibe.

Cool little spot to stop and get some really good food while out walking about. You order at the little building on the side, but there is outdoor and indoor seating. I had the chicken mole bowl, chorizo taco and birria taco. Everything was extremely quick to come out and very good. The tacos were the star of the show though. They were just phenomenal. Next time I'm in Duluth I will definitely be coming back for some tacos.

Excellent food, so tasty and fresh. We always stop here if we are anywhere close to Duluth. The Conchinita bowl is my favorite, Mexican coke is yum

Food was great! Small taquaria with a few outdoor seats. I was pumped for the birria but the chorizo was the sleeper choice for vest taco. The tamale was decent, but not a traditional style. I'll definetly go back!

Small shop serving up huge flavors. Best tacos we’ve ever had! Tried both the Cochinita (pork) and the Birria (beef) and argued over which was better. So fresh and flavorful! The Salsa Verde was bright with just the right amount of heat. Ordered the Tomale with pork and I’m so glad I did, again, amazing. They also have bowls which seem very popular. Wish they would add a little more seating, but certainly earns all five stars!

This place was super awesome ! Friendly staff and the food was fresh and DELICIOUS. We got 2 birria tacos and a torta and split it between 2 people so our meal was only $24 ! We’re in Duluth during grandmas marathon weekend so we were worried about parking hut there is lots of accessible parking nearby. Affordable prices in an area where that is hard to find !! Do yourself a favor and check this place out !!

To have people as dedicated to tacos in life as me and my family is such a gift. To have them within walking distance of our home is a luxury — a dangerous one. My husband, son, and I stopped by last night to experience the new indoor spot. I am so excited to have this option and we are looking forward to many family dinners here in the coming months. The vibrant colors, music, and layout of the space were spot on and gave us energy at the end of a gray, cloudy Duluth day. The addition of the new veggie taco is greatly appreciated. I lean vegan, and leveraging mushrooms in tacos is one of my favorite uses for them. I loved the addition of the cauliflower, and the raisins were a nice twist. Maybe next up in menu development could be a carnitas mushroom taco perhaps? My family devoured their birria, chorizo, and carnitas tacos, just like they always do when we visit Chachos. Spot on, and always a pleasure to eat these tacos. Chachos team — keep going. Duluth needs you, we need you, and your tacos give us energy.

Review from a Mexican women who knows real Mexican flavors. The two white men in the food truck gave me some pause but once I received the food I was sold. I had the birria taco, the cochinita taco, and the beans and rice and I was impressed with the flavor depth of the tacos. I would pass on the beans and rice next time but only because it was undersalted. I added some birria broth and salsa and made it work for me.
